Driving
From east: (Ottawa, Kingston): Take Highway 401 west to the Don Valley Parkway (also called Highway 404). Take the Don Valley Parkway south to the downtown/Richmond Street exit. Take Richmond Street westbound. After Bay Street, get into the left lane. The Hilton Toronto is the second building on the left after York Street.
From north: Take Highway 400 south to Highway 401 west. Follow Highway 401 west to Highway 427, and go south on Highway 427 to the Gardiner Expressway. Go east on the Gardiner Expressway and exit at York Street. Go north on York Street to Richmond Street West. Turn left (west) on Richmond and follow Richmond to the Hilton Toronto, which is on the left side of Richmond.
From west: (Windsor, London): Take Highway 401 East to Highway 427, and go south to the Gardiner Expressway. Go east on the Gardiner Expressway to York Street, and head north on York Street to Richmond Street West. Turn left (west) on Richmond and follow Richmond to the Hilton Toronto, which is on the left side of the street.
From QEW west: (Niagara Falls): Take the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) to Toronto, where the QEW becomes the Gardiner Expressway. Follow the Gardiner Expressway east to the York Street exit. Take York Street north to Richmond Street West and go left (west). Follow Richmond Street to the Hilton Toronto, which is on the left side of the street.
From Toronto Pearson International Airport: Take Highway 427 south to the Gardiner Expressway, and go east on the Gardiner Expressway. Exit at York Street. Take York Street north to Richmond Street West and turn left (west) on Richmond. Follow Richmond Street to the Hilton Toronto, which is on the left side of the street. If going by taxi, the estimated fare is $50.
Train
VIA Rail arrives at Union Station (located on Front Street). Taxis are available in front of the station. Those who are comfortable with Toronto’s transit system would take the subway north on the University/Spadina line, exit at Osgoode station, walk south one block to Richmond Street West. The hotel is at the corner of Richmond and University streets.
Airport Shuttle
An Airport Express Shuttle runs from the arrivals terminal at Pearson International Airport to downtown Toronto every 40 minutes between 4:15 am and 11:10 pm. The nearest drop off point is across from the hotel, at the corner of York and Richmond streets. The journey takes about 40 minutes.
